Beverage Services

The Calgary Shrine Centre provides experienced, ProServe certified and professional bar staff for our clients. We also offer a number of flexible beverage service options for you to choose from, including:

  • Host bar
  • Cash bar

The Calgary Shrine Centre beverage menu includes Standard, Deluxe or Premium bar offerings. Bar staff are billed out at $25 per hour per staff member (1.5x over 8 hours).

  • If choosing Deluxe Bar, 1 Bar staff will be included at no cost.
  • If choosing Premium Bar Package, 2 Bar staff will be included at no cost.
  • If total bar cost reaches $3000+ Bar staff will be supplied at no cost for all packages.

We are also pleased to bring in your choice of wine should you wish (125% markup).

Please note: a minimum of 2 bar staff will be required for all bars. 

HOST BAR

Consumption will be invoiced on a per drink basis to host. There is 15% gratuity charged on the final bar bill for a host bar only.

RESPONSIBLE ALCOHOL MANAGEMENT

The Calgary Shrine Centre practices a responsible alcohol management program in an effort to provide our Duty of Care and ensure the safety of our guests. All of our bar staff are Pro Serve certified. Bar staff monitor and control the service of alcoholic beverages in a safe and responsible manner.

Only alcohol purchased through the Calgary Shrine Event Centre may be consumed on the premises.

Bartenders reserve the right to cease service to any individual in accordance with Alberta ProServer regulations.

Clients are responsible for the conduct of their guests. Misconduct may result in the guest being removed from the facility or termination of event.
